WINEMA – THE HISTORY

In 1958 Wilhelm Neth founds the Neth Maschinenfabrik. The business develops quickly into a renowned supplier for highly precise boring works for the machine tool industry in southern Germany.

During the 70ies, milling centers and grinding machines for our own production are developed and a comprehensive know-how for the production of special machines is gained.

The subsidiary WINEMA Maschinenbau GmbH is founded and takes over parts of the existing rotary indexing machines programme, which focusses especially on the development and production of cam-controlled rotary indexing machines.

Further development of the existing rotary indexing machines and changeover from hydraulically controlled drives to CNC drives. The RV and RH series with Siemens controlled machining units is launched successfully. The machine concept is basiclly revised. Winema develops the slant bed concept and installs the unit carriers right and left of the table top.

Eckhard Neth (Dipl. Wirtschafts-Ing.), the son of the company founder, takes over exclusive responsibility for the WINEMA business and the further development of the RV rotary indexing machines series: The new RV 20 Flexmaster with new and fast quill units is born.

Eckhard Neth takes over the shares of WINEMA Maschinenbau GmbH. The RV 20 Flexmaster celebrates its first success on the market and WINEMA can fascinate renowned customers with their machine concept.

The company moves to its new facilities in the town of Grosselfingen with around 2,000 m² of space for administration and production facilities.

Expansion of the in-house production of milled parts with 2 Spinner 5-axis milling machines, which makes our component manufacturing independent of long delivery times from our suppliers.

Extension of hall area to 900 m² for the in-house production in the town  Grosselfingen. In 2014 Winema builds another expansion to the production area with hall 3 with about 400 m².

We are working incessantly on the improvement of all machines. With its ultimate technology, WINEMA secures the top quality position of its products.
